Dude Low Returns as Raoul Jay
Today we're excited to share the first release from Raoul Jay, the new musical chapter of longtime Fogwood artist Dude Low.
Based in Brussels, Raoul Jay blends indie, pop, and punk influences into songs that embrace imperfections, big melodies, and a healthy disregard for convention. It's familiar in spirit, but unmistakably a new direction.
The debut single, "Queens of Our Time," is available everywhere now, and the official music video premiered yesterday.
Raoul describes the project as an attempt to challenge the clichés of safe, well-behaved pop music while still making people move. The result is a song that's equal parts sharp-edged and catchy, cynical and hopeful.
