Fogwood City Citizen since 2022.
Mekfly operates at the exploratory edge of Fogwood Records, blending West Coast hip-hop energy with atmospheric R&B and experimental production. Originally from Oakland and now based in Boston, his work moves fluidly between genres, balancing groove-driven rhythms with unexpected sonic textures. Mekfly’s music often sits in the space between introspective songwriting and forward-thinking production. Alongside solo work, he continues expanding the label’s sound through collaborative projects and new creative directions.
