Fogwood City Citizen since 2025.
La Mante is the alternative rock project of Étienne Froidure, frontman of Beach Youth. Based in Caen, France, the project explores darker, more atmospheric territory than his indie pop roots, drawing comparisons to bands like Radiohead. Built around layered guitars, haunting melodies, and introspective songwriting, La Mante leans into a cinematic, art-rock approach. The project represents Fogwood’s European alternative wing.
